The Role
BBD has a bursary programme that is aimed at providing support for talented IT students in selected fields of Information Technology (IT).
The bursary program is designed for those students that are considering a career in software development. Both academic merit and financial need will be considered during the selection process.
Skills & Experience
BBD invites students wishing to register or continue their university studies in BSc/ BEng/ BCom/ BIS majoring in Computer Science, Computer & Software Engineering, Information Technology, Informatics at Bachelors/ Honours/ Masters/ Doctorate level to apply.
Key Accountabilities
Applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
- A South African citizen
- Studying or preparing to study towards a DEGREE in IT at a recognised South African University? (Computer Science, Computer & Software Engineering, Information Technology, Informatics)
- Have a minimum overall academic average of 70%
- Have a passionate about creating and building software
- Skilled in terms of written & verbal communication
