Responsibilities :
- A 12-month Internship opportunity is available for 2022 within the Office for Student Development for a current first year Masters Industrial Psychology student (alternatively Industrial Psychology Honours graduate) to develop critical work related skills.
- Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful incumbent will assist mainly with the career service projects including, inter alia:
- Working on ‘Career Xplora’, the Careers Service Management tool
- Advising students about their job search and related documents
- Logistics for projects
- Compiling report
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Minimum Requirements:
- Current first year UWC Masters student who will be completing the mini-thesis in 2022 or
- alternatively, a UWC student who has completed Industrial Psychology (Honours) in 2021
- Strong interest in career services
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ICT
- Social media savvy
- Ability to successfully multi-task and work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
