Job Advert Summary:
Rand Water is looking for a candidate who will be able to use various Horticultural equipment to: plough, mow lawns, bail and rake grass, water trees and transport equipment. The successful candidate will have to drive to site on his own and carry out the work as described above.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Minimum Requirements
- • Grade 12/Standard 10 or Equivalent
- • Code 08 driver’s license and the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 drivers test
- • 3 years experience in a similar environment
- • 2 years experience - using a broad range of Agric/horticultural implements & tractor drawn equipment
Primary Duties
- • Weeding, loading and sweeping
- • Applying fertilizers, insecticides & fungicides
- • Use of specialized horticultural equipment, including lawnmowers & brush cutters
- • General cleaning
- • Grass cutting and making of firebreaks
- • Driving to site to carry out work independently
- • Undertake Senior Gardener work when no tractor work is available
