The Big Picture:
ESAB South Africa, a division of Howden Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Picker/Packer to cover all aspects of receiving of goods, inventory control and order fulfilment for external customers.
What needs to be done?
- Receiving of goods / unpacking containers
- Action physical stock to different stockholding areas
- Stock rotation and bin maintenance
- Maintain a clean and tidy stock holding area
- Stock Count and discrepancy investigations
- Zero Stock Variances
- Maintain clear demarcation areas for different types of stock
- 100% correctness for order picking and packing
- Order deliveries done accurate and din good condition
- Required documents signed for upon delivery and dispatching
- Adheres to all Quality, Environmental and safety aspects
- Adheres to all SOX requirements
- On time order completion

Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certificate in Warehousing/Supply Chain Management
- Relevant experience in storekeeping and stock controlling
- Forklift License (advantageous)
- Good communication skills
- Exposure to warehouse control procedures
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- Good planning and organising skills
- Exposure to shipping container control procedures
