ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Good Communication Skills
- 12 Months experience in similar environment
- Ability to do minor Welding/Boilermaker work
- Basic recognition of tools
- Driver’s license will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of the Welding/Boilermaker field field
- Successful candidate must be able to perform labour intensive duties when necessary
Primary Duties
- Carrying of tools and materials for the Artisan
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained
- To clean up machines and work area when job is completed
- Follow safe work procedures
- Assist Artisan, Workshop Assistant with job related duties and collect spares from stores
- Do plant inspections and report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor and/or Artisan
