South Africa’s youth are resilient and filled with potential – yet they have the highest unemployment of all age groups. Over 62% of youth aged 15 to 24 do not have jobs*. Our JumpStart programme is taking urgent action, equipping unemployed youth with sought-after retail and manufacturing skills to help unlock career potential.
Mr Price Foundation is the only independently registered NPO driving skills development in the retail and agriculture value chains, as well as in education.
Mr Price Foundation was established in 2005 as an NPO to positively influence and actively support South Africa’s national development priorities of youth unemployment and access to quality education. Our socio-economic programmes have formed a national, regional and community footprint.
Retail Sales Programme
Are you a match for retail sales?
If you’re friendly, outgoing and well-spoken with a passion for retail and customer service, the JumpStart Retail Sales Programme (RSP) could be a match for you. This is a highly energetic two-week training experience for customer-facing positions. Training incorporates life skills, sales theory and role play, as well as in-store work experience. Suitable candidates will be selected via an online survey and telephone screening.
